Oakes Writing offers guaranteed traffic to Law Firm websites. That you may already know. What you don’t know is how many of your competitors are taking advantage of this unique offer. Would you like to? Better still, would you like the same guarantee of traffic to your Law Firm’s website?
A Little About Your Competition
Did you know that of the hundreds of millions of websites cluttering the Internet today, less than 1/2% (0.005) get more than one visitor per month?
Did you know that most of your competitors (except for our clients and a handful of others) are in that same boat?
How do I know?
My name is Clarence J Oakes and I launched Oakes Writing Website Services from my home in Lubbock, Texas to help Law Firms with content marketing. My personal goal was to remain a stay-at-home dad though it is starting to become difficult. I am at a stage where expansion is necessary. This is good news for those interested in our services. It means that I can now begin accepting more clients, where once, I had to turn many down. But enough about me. Let’s talk about you and your competition.
One of the biggest problems I have found since dedicating my skills to Law Firms is that most have webmasters to whom they are very loyal. While I admire such loyalty, when it gets in the way of business I believe a change is necessary. Wouldn’t you?
Yet, because of loyalty, most Law Firms fail to achieve better than basic levels of traffic. Would you like more traffic to your website? Do you worry that your competitor’s sites are doing better than yours?
Would you like to learn then, how to scope out the competition? First, know that most of your competitors are just as loyal to ineffective webmasters. Following is how I know.
Go to a website called Alexa.com. Once there, scroll down and on the right, you will see a button labeled, “Browse Top Sites.”
Enter your website domain into that box then click enter on your keyboard or the Find button on the site. You will then arrive at a page as seen to the right.
This example shows the traffic ranking of OakesWriting.com as of April 29, 2017. Note the graph showing sporadic traffic results. These occurred as I sought business or left off because as a small business, I was not quite ready for big growth (until now, that is).
Most importantly, note that a rank of 1 million translates to about 100 visitors to a website each month. In other words, I get enough traffic to sustain my business.
Another website, CriminalJusticeLaw.org, which I built to show clients what I can accomplish using just search engines, currently gets in excess of 1500 visitors each month and the Alexa ranking for that site is a paltry 800K. This, after only being in operation since June 2016.
One other ranking you should know about. If Alexa returns with “No Ranking,” the website is not ranked in the top 20 million sites worldwide and you can bet, they are not getting much traffic outside their own office.
Why do I share this with you?
First, this gives you a way to gauge your competition. You can check their site and look at their Alexa rank to know how much traffic their site gets. The higher the ranking, the less traffic. Few Law Firm websites I have checked out of thousands ever get lower than 3 million with Alexa.
Second, at Oakes Writing, we believe in transparency. We are not ashamed at how relatively low we rank with Alexa. Note that the graph beings late-January 2017; our launch date. I don’t think our results that shabby.
Third, we offer a guarantee unlike any in this industry and because of this, our business is growing. Part of the reason is because we do not simply provide content, marketing, or some cookie-cutter program. Instead, we customize a content marketing plan just for you.
If you know how to read your competitors Alexa scores, you will know whether their webmaster/content marketer is telling the truth about their results. In checking out my competitors, for instance, I find that many do not get the traffic results they claim to have themselves. Why not? The reasons may be many, but frequently, they simply do not know to offer anything of value to readers.
Bottom line is, like anything else in business, numbers do not lie. If you really want to gauge how your website is performing beside your competitors, use Alexa.com. At one time, it was not too reliable, but a few months ago Amazon bought the site from Google and added their own enormous database to the site, raising the bar considerably. It is still not perfect, but it is one of the best site comparison tools available.
Rest assured, if a competing law firm has a very high number or no Alexa rank, they are not using Oakes Writing. If you want to dominate your market, let Oakes Writing Website Services evaluate your site today and develop a customized content marketing plan jus for you. We not only
As part of your custom marketing plan, we will incorporate your specific, measurable goals. In other words, you choose the results you want us to guarantee,!
